Welcome to Flourish Bookkeeping!

Originally from Virginia, I officially moved to NC in 2017 after completing my undergraduate in 2015. I always loved the state and fell in love with its people. I'm a family girl! My husband and I have 2 children and we are loving this journey!

​

Prior to Bookkeeping, I worked for a handful of  well-known credible organizations such as Meta (Formerly known as Facebook), PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers), and Credit Suisse all in the Corporate Functions industry. I also professionally worked in Banking/Finance for 4 years. 

​

I started Flourish Bookkeeping in January 2023. I found there was a need for a simple outsourced solution for small businesses and individual bookkeeping needs. I am a firm believer that time is our greatest asset. We take care of your bookkeeping so you can take care of your business. I pride myself in providing unmatched client service by getting to know you and your business intimately. I often send welcome packages to new clients and goodies throughout the year as a reminder of our appreciation and commitment to your business flourishing. We love to have fun here but also take our partnership as a commitment.

Aside from bookkeeping experience, I am detailed oriented, organized and highly adaptable. I conduct business with a solutions oriented approach and solve problems quickly. I am licensed to do business in NC and Certified in QuickBooks Online.

First and foremost, I’m a Christian husband, father, and friend! I’m thankful to God every day for the breath in my lungs! I was raised in the small town of Bunn, NC. Fast-forward to today I’m proud to be a resident in the Triangle Area! I have served in the United States Marine Corps and I’ve worked as a police officer at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Transitioning to Bookkeeping has been very exciting! I’ve always had a keen interest in finance and after working for Fortune 500 companies (Fidelity Investments and Credit Suisse) I’ve come to realize that many small businesses are either doing the DIY approach, using outdated software and techniques, using little to no automotive tools, or don’t have a bookkeeper at all. There is a big need, and we are excited to fill that gap.

We use QuickBooks Online to help us with the accounting which I’m certified to work in. Before our training and certification in QuickBooks Online, we spent many years being mentored in bookkeeping by a CPA w/ 15+ yrs experience. Our specialty is Monthly Bookkeeping (Not Tax) and we enjoy every bit of it!
